Creating rules

To create a new rule, proceed as follows:

  1. Go to Configuration > Rules > Rules.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Specify the general properties of the rule under General.

  4. (Optional) Restrict the rule under Scope to specific senders and recipients.

    For details on the configuration options, see Specifying the scope of the rules.

  5. (Optional) Restrict the rule under IP Filtering to specific submitting servers.

  6. Under Filter, activate the desired filters for the rule.

  7. Under Actions, configure the actions to be triggered by this rule. Actions are always executed, even if the emails are not checked by filters.

  8. Configure the behavior that is applied to emails that do not meet the policies you set for sending or receiving.

  9. Click Finish.
